Marjorie A. Hahn, 80, Greensburg, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2009 at her residence.
Born, March 2, 1928 in Decatur County, she was the daughter of Bernard H. and Martha M. (Dwenger) Stier.
Marjorie graduated in 1946 from Greensburg High School. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the St. Lawrence Auxiliary, a Decatur County Hospital Volunteer and she also volunteered for many civic and church activities. She was an avid sports fan and loved to follow her grandchildren in their sports activities.
She was married to Norbert V. Hahn on May 29, 1948 and he survives.
She is also survived by six sons, Ted (Susie) Hahn, Greensburg, Dan (Sue) Hahn, Greensburg, Gordon (Sue) Hahn, Aurora, Il., Mark (Kim) Hahn, Greensburg, Andy (Connie) Hahn, New Castle, Pat (Mona) Hahn, Greensburg; one daughter, Nicki (Gene) Wuestefeld, Batesville; one brother, Harold Stier, Cincinnati; one sister, Phyllis Layman, New Palestine; 22 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 1-5:00 p.m. Sunday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A rosary will be prayed at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2009 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg with Msgr. Harold Knueven and Rev. Michael O’Mara officiating.
Interment will be held in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Greensburg.
Memorials may be made to the Decatur County Hospice or to the St. Mary’s Building Fund.
