Rose Mary White, 92, Flat Rock and formerly of Sandusky, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at her residence.
Born, January 18, 1917 in St. Paul, Indiana, she was the daughter of Wyatt Bockover and Eva. M. (Moore) Garrett.
Rose Mary was a former member of the Pocahontas Lodge and the Eagles Auxiliary in Greensburg.
She was married to Louis W. “Sticky” White on January 18, 1936 and he preceded her in death on June 22, 1983.
She is survived by one son, David L. (Judy K. Cundiff) White; one daughter, Molly (Gerald) Cruser, Tucson, Az.; one sister, Evelyn Jackson, Liberty; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and 3 great great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; her step father, Guy Garrett; one son, Louis White, Jr.; one daughter, Arlene Fields; four brothers, Donald, Max, Dick and Guy, Jr.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2009 at the South Park Cemetery in Greensburg with Rev. Steve Hollin officiating.
Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg was entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Shelby County Hospice.
