James A. Roszell, 90, Orange, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2009 at his residence.
Born, August 31, 1918 in Decatur Co., Indiana, he was the son of Forrest and Goldie (Gaunt) Roszell.
He retired in 1979 from Ford Mfg. Co. in Connersville.
He was a veteran of WW II serving in the Army Air Corp.
He was married to Naomi L. Friend on September 13, 1941 and she preceded him in death on November 23, 2000.
He is survived by two daughters, Sandy (Wayne) Robinson, Connersville, Patty (Richard) Kunkel, Fountaintown, In.; one brother, Clarence M. Roszell, Shelbyville, Ky.; two sisters, Naomi Tellas, Greensburg, Marilyn Plowman, Napoleon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; three brothers, Forrest Roszell, Jr., Paul Roszell, Carl Roszelle; three sisters, Cecil Morrison, Violet Snyder, Margaret Roszell.
Visitation will be from 11-1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. Dan Wolford officiating.
Interment will be held in the South Park Cemetery in Greensburg.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or to the American Heart Association.
