Sheila Ann Walston

Sheila Ann Walston, 76, Greensburg, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at the Heritage House Nursing Home in Greensburg. Born, December 10, 1932 in Minden, Nebraska, she was the daughter of Oscar and Elva (Shorgren) Holsten.   Sheila graduated in 1951 from Minden High School.  She was the former co-owner with husband, Paul of the Walston Chrysler-Plymouth & Dodge in Greensburg and also Walston Chevrolet in Versailles.  She served as the office manager and accountant at the dealerships. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Greensburg. She was married to Paul S. Walston on February 6, 1960 and he survives. She is also survived by two daughter, Lynn (James) Hatfield, Ft. Wayne, Cyndy (Richard) Bagan, Roanoke, In.; two sisters, Charmaine (Wisthi) Thomsen, Minden, NE, Marlene (Fred) Castles, Chester, SC; five grandchildren, Carrie Hatfield, Zachary Hatfield, Spencer Bagan, McKenzie Bagan, Tori Bagan. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Lamoine Holsten. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Monday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Visitation will also be held from 9-10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Greensburg with Rev. Eugene Ott officiating. Interment will be held in the Oakdale Cemetery in Dillsboro, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church or to the Decatur County Hospice.
