Danny E. Wilhoit

Danny E. Wilhoit, 80, Greensburg, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. Born, January 12,, 1936 in Greensburg, Indiana, he was the son of James A. and Bertha (Wilson) Wilhoit. Danny retired in 1998 from Bohn Aluminum. He also had farmed for several years. He was a Veteran of the US Army. Danny enjoyed bowling and golf. He was married to Iris D. (Bialk) Ruppert on December 17, 1988 and she survives. He is also survived by one step son, Paul (Jennifer) Ruppert, Tenn.; one sister, Ruth Skotzke, Greensburg; 4 step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, William Wilhoit, Carl Wilhoit, Hubert Wilhoit; one step son, Steven Ruppert. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10 to 1:00 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. Cliff Bunch officiating. Interment will be held in the South Park Cemetery in Greensburg. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or to the donor's choice.
