Tonya L. Benefiel

Tonya L. Benefiel, 57, Greensburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at her residence in Greensburg. Born, October 16, 1951 in Zenas, Indiana, she was the daughter of Grant and Betty Gibbons. Tonya had worked at GECOM in the metal stamping department. She was married to Billy Joe Benefiel on September 6, 2004 and he survives. She is survived by her husband, her parents in California; two sons, James R. Giddings, Shaun Benefiel; two daughters, Diana Mathis, Candace Benefiel; 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her grandparents who helped raise her, Arthur and Lizzie Gibbons. Private services will be held at a later date for the family. Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
