Norman R. Shafer

August 20, 1957 — July 9, 2016

Norman R. Shafer, 58, Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Community East Hospital in Indianapolis. Born, August 20, 1957 in Greensburg, Indiana, he was the son of Robert C. and Betty "Jo" (Howard) Shafer. Norman graduated from Greensburg High School and then worked for K.S. Bearings and Bohn Aluminum. He is survived by one brother, Larry C. (Kathy) Shafer, Freeport, Fl.; one sister, Diann Zapfe, Greensburg. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the South Park Cemetery.
