Ralph H. "Red" Hedinger

Ralph H. “Red” Hedinger, 83, Greensburg passed away on July 31, 2016 at Our Hospice in Columbus.  Red was born February 25, 1933 in St. Marks, Indiana to Hugo and Veronica (Pfaff) Hedinger.  Red was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 129, where he was past commander, and he was a member of 40 and 8.  He worked for several different companies as a salesman over the course of his life.  Red was married to Elsie J. Trobaugh on October 17, 1953 and she survives.  He is also survived by one son; Tim (Becky) Hedinger, Greensburg, one daughter; Sarah (Kirk) DeMoss, Laguna Vista, TX, and four grandchildren; Patrick Hedinger, Rachel Hedinger, Erin DeMoss, and Kyle DeMoss.  He was preceded in death by his brother; Donald Hedinger, and two sons; Mark and David Hedinger.  Visitation will be from 2-4 on Saturday, August 6 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home.
