Carolyn Blackburn

Carolyn Blackburn, 76, Greensburg, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2009 at the Heritage House Nursing Home in Greensburg. Born, February 18, 1933 in Adams, Indiana she was the daughter of Laurence Darby and Mary (Moulton) Darby Martin. Carolyn was a member of the Bethel Apostolic Church in Greensburg. She loved to visit with nursing home patients as her ministry to God. She is survived by one son, Barry Alan (Cheryl) Blackburn, Batesville; one daughter, Anita (Joe) Enterkin, Shelbyville; one sister-in-law, Gladys Darby, Greensburg; four grandchildren, Michael Moore, Greenwood, Joni McVey, Fairland, Rachel Blackburn, Shelbyville, Rebecca Blackburn, Shelbyville. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert Darby. Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. Monday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. Glenn Seaman and Rev. Eston Poling officiating. Memorials may be made to the Bethel Apostolic Church.
