Dona S. Washburn

Dona S. Washburn, 79, of Greensburg passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at her home.  Dona was born on July 11, 1937 in Greensburg, the daughter of James Leonard and Dona Opal (Holder) Bruner.  Dona worked for KB Foods in Greensburg for 19 years.  Dona was engaged to Bud Whitaker and he preceded her in death on March 17, 2006.  She is survived by her son; Mark (Sheila) Washburn, New Point, daughter; Sheila (Charles) Diekhoff, Greensburg, brother; Jerry (Alice) Bruner, sister; Beverly (Eugene) Merriman, Greensburg, 2 grandchildren; Erica Jeffries and Jessica Diekhoff, and 3 great grandchildren; Hae-Leigh Washburn, Able Stetson, and Shayla Jeffries.  Dona was preceded in death by her parents, sister; Sandy Griffith, and grandson; Dana Washburn.  Visitation will be at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg on Tuesday from 1 to 3 pm.  Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Tuesday, October 11 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Turner officiating.  Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.  Memorials can be made to Hospice.
