Richard Alan Blair

Richard Alan Blair, 57, Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at the Heritage House Nursing Home in Greensburg. Born, August 28, 1951 in Chillicothe, Ohio, he was the son of Earl R. and Louise A. (Gerling) Blair. He was a veteran of the Navy and he served in Viet Nam. He had worked at the Ranch Supermarket and then at American Lifts prior to his illness. He is survived by his mother, Louise A. Blair, Greensburg; one brother, Leo J. (Martha) Blair, Costa Mesa, Ca.; two sisters, Jo Ann (Larry) Hunter, Greensburg; Laura (Rob) Richey, Greensburg; nieces and nephews, Teresa (Tom) Metz, Joanie (Sam) Nobbe, Kim (Dan) Slaven, Bridget (Stephen) Duffin, Joe (Sondra) Blair, Ryan (Rachel) Richey, Blair Richey; several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Robert Michael Blair; one nephew, Michael Hunter. Private services will be held for the family. Internment will be held in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Greensburg. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Decatur County, 1201 N.
