Larry W. Welsh

Larry W. Welsh, 63, Greensburg, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016 at his residence.  Born, May 10, 1953 in Greensburg, Indiana, he was the son of David J. and Betty J. (Cardinal) Welsh.  Larry graduated in 1972 from Greensburg High School.  He worked as a custodian at the Greensburg Junior High School.  He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 129 and the First Baptist Church.  He was a master woodworker and loved fishing, hunting, going to garage sales and auctions.  He was married to Peggy S. Peters on December 8, 1982 and she survives.  He is also survived by his parents; one son, Zach (Brittany) Welsh, Greensburg; three daughters, Chi (Dave) Hamilton, Dupont, Somer Hart, Greensburg, Blake Welsh, Greensburg; one brother, Thomas (Paula) Welsh, Virginia; one sister, Sharon (Bill Noah) Welsh, Shelbyville; five grandchildren, Chelsea Karnes, Balee Welsh, Preston Welsh, Lilli Welsh, Sam Welsh.  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3 to 7:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Greensburg.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Cliff Bunch officiating.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Legion Post 129 or to the First Baptist Church School.
