William J. Simmonds

William J. Simmonds, 72, Greensburg, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at his residence. Born, July 31, 1944 in Greensburg, Indiana, he was the son of Howard R. and  Lydia (Troutman) Simmonds.  He served in the Army in Viet Nam.  He then worked for 33 years at Delta Faucet. He attended the New Beginnings Assembly of God in Greensburg. He is survived by one brother, Harold Simmonds, Shelbyville; three sisters, Diana Yates, Shelbyville, Linda Vire, Batesville, Sandra Simmonds, Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents; 7 brothers, Larry, George, Howard Jr., Donald, Richard, Earl, and John Simmonds; two sisters, Gail Greene and Jean Owens. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Sandcreek Cemetery in Greensburg with Rev. Mike Cunnington officiating followed by Military Graveside services.
