Everett L. Ray

Everett L. Ray, 84, Greensburg, died Friday, September 18, 2009 at the Hospice Inpatient Facility in Columbus. Born, July 21, 1925 in Greensburg, Indiana, he was the son of Clyde and Maggie (Lowe) Ray. He was married to Sandra Kay Wainscott on July 4, 1964 and she preceded him in death on September 11, 2002. He had worked at the Bohn Aluminum Corp for several years and also worked at the C.J. Loyd Poultry Co. for several years. He had attended the Burney Baptist Church. He is survived by one daughter, Carla (Joe) Hobbs, Greensburg; one grandson, Joseph (Katherine) Hobbs, Greensburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one brother, two sisters and several half brothers and half sisters.. Visitation will be from 11-1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2002 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home with the Rev. Rand Hooten officiating. Internment will be held in the South Park Cemetery in Greensburg. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Decatur County, 1201 N.
