Paul J. Fisse

Paul J. Fisse, 78, Greensburg, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at his residence in Greensburg. Born, April 20, 1931 in Decatur Co., Indiana, he was the son of Joseph and Clara C. (Laudick) Fisse. He was a farmer. He graduated from Clarksburg High School. He was a veteran of the Army, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the St. Maurice Catholic Church. He is survived by two sisters, Mary Catherine Schoettmer, Connersville, Rita (Arnold) Bokelman, Greensburg; one sister-in-law, Margie Fisse, Greensburg; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Clarence Fisse, Raymond Fisse; one sister, Freda Fisse; one brother-in-law, Tony Schoettmer; two nieces, Mary Ann Schoettmer and Susan Fisse; one great niece, Heather Fisse Gibbs. Visitation will be from 1:00-4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A rosary service will be held on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2009 at the St. Maurice Catholic Church in St. Maurice with Rev. George Joseph officiating. Interment will be held in the St. Maurice Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Catholic Relief Service’s through the funeral home.
