Alvina C. Hodapp, 88, Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the Morning Breeze Nursing Home in Greensburg.
Born, May 5, 1921 in Iowa, she was the daughter of Joseph J. and Marie M. (Bruns) Wilmer.
Alvina was a former nurse. She was a member of the St. Maurice Catholic Church in Napoleon.
She was married to Alphons J. Hodapp on April 7, 1948 and he survives.
She is also survived by one son, Arthur (Vicky) Hodapp, Greensburg; two daughters, Ruth (Lynn) Herbert, Greensburg, Betty (Bob) Fisse, Greensburg; one brother, Vernon (Mary Ann) Wilmer, Greensburg; one sister, Edna M. Harp, Osgood; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Patricia Hodapp; two brothers, Raymond and Urban Hodapp; one brother-in-law, Roy Harp; one sister-in-law, Leona Hodapp.
Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at the St. Maurice Catholic Church in Napoleon with Rev. Rob Hankee officiating.
Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Millhousen, Indiana.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
