James Dynnis Imel, 54, Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at his residence in Greensburg.
Born, June 30, 1955 in Shelbyville, Indiana, he was the son of Perry Herbert and Rosamae (Schuck) Imel.
Denny worked at KB Foods, Ge-Com, Delta Faucet, and Randall’s in Greensburg. He also had worked at the Firestone Tire Co. in Florida. He resided most of his life in Greensburg and recently had been living with his best friend, Wayne Cain.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by two sons, Jason Clark, James Dynnis Imel, Jr., Greensburg; one daughter, Dottie (Richard) Cortez, Naples, Fl.; five brothers, Richard Imel, Greensburg, Robert Imel, Greensburg, John Imel, Greensburg, Earl (Judy) Imel, Greensburg, William Joseph Imel, Osgood; two sisters, Peggy (Tony) Gilland, Osgood, Patsy “Susie” Cowins, Greensburg; his best friend, Wayne Cain, Greensburg, 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Charles Imel; two sisters, Janie Simmonds and Tillie Imel.
Visitation will be from 9-11:00 a.m. Monday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 2010 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. Wes Jones officiating.
Interment will be held in the Rossburg Cemetery in New Point.
