Ruth E. Jones

Ruth E. Jones, 76, Greensburg, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the residence of her daughter, Nancy Wolter. Born, January 30, 1934 in Decatur County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Loren L. and Lemona E. (Fultz) Tumilty. Ruth was a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Adams. She was married to Maurice E. Jones on January 15, 1949 and he preceded her in death on August 23, 2008. She is survived by five sons, Michael L. (Debbie) Jones, Farmington, Mo., Steven D. (Janis) Jones, Greensburg, Thomas E. (Janet) Jones, Greensburg, Maurice Dee (Kim) Jones, Columbus, John K. (Pat) Jones, Greensburg; four daughters, Marcia A. Bray, Greensburg, Kitty (Jeff) Smith, Greensburg, Debra (Monte) Gardner, Indianapolis, Nancy (Norman) Wolter, Greensburg; 30 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Se was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 1, 2010 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. Keith Dover officiating.
