Bradley D. Buening

Bradley D. Buening, 41, of St. Paul passed away on Friday, June 11, 2010. He was born September 9, 1968 to parents Phil and Roseaaron (Leffler) Buening. Bradley graduated from North Decatur High School in 1986. He then graduated from Ball State University in May of 1991 with Bachelor Degrees in Urban and City Planning and Environmental Design, along with a minor in Energy Resources. Bradley worked at the Columbus/Bartholomew Planning Department from 1991-1993, the Decatur County Area Planning Department from 1993-1997, the Wells County Area Planning Department from 1997-1999 and from 2000-2006, Huntington County from 1999-2000, Indiana Farm Bureau, Inc. in 2006, and was currently employed as the Executive Director of the Rush County Economic Development Corporation. He was certified in various levels of GIS software, he was on the IGIC Board of Directors and the Indiana Bio Energy Board of Directors, he was on the Decatur County and Batesville Redevelopment Commissions, and the Ripley County/Batesville Chamber of Commerce. Bradley was a member of the 74 Economic Development Corridor, the Rushville Rotary Club, Energize ECI, Eastern Indiana Development District and Regional Workforce Development Board, Rush County AG and HR Roundtables, Indiana Economic Development Corporation, Milroy Economic Development Corporation, Redevelopment Commission, Ivy Tech East Region Advisory Board, he was a volunteer for Rush County Victims Assistance, and he was an active member in the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg. Bradley is survived by his parents, the mother of his children; Charlotte (Mayer) Buening, Greensburg, three sons; Anthony, Luke, and Jacob Buening all of Greensburg, two daughters; Jessica and Megan Buening of Greensburg, three sisters; Lori (Jim) Biltz, Greensburg, Londa (Tom) Wine, Indianapolis, and Karla (Eric) Brown, Michigan. Visitation will be from 3-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg, with a rosary service at 2:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg with Msgr. Harold Knueven officiating. Interment will be held in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Greensburg, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the North Decatur FFA or the Rushville Memorial Hospital Foundation.
