Marjorie C. Johannigman, 82 of Millhousen passed away June 19, 2010 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Marjorie was born at her home near Millhousen on February 11, 1928 to John and Hilda (Hardebeck) Veerkamp. She married Urban Johannigman on October 19, 1949 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen, and he survives.
Marjorie was a homemaker, and a lifetime member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen.
In addition to her husband, Marjorie is survived by eleven children; Betty (Richard) Silcox, Greenfield, Margaret (David) Ledford, Charlottesville, IN, Donna (Raymond) Schwering, Westport, Marilyn (Paul) Bedel, Greensburg, Cathy (Ambrose) Bedel, Greensburg, Janet (Mark) Bedel, Hamburg, Darlene (Robert) Engleking, Charlottesville, IN, Urban Johannigman, Jr., Greensburg, Charles (Cheryl) Johannigman, Osgood, Dottie (Ken) Hellmich, Osgood, and Laurie Lynn Johannigman, Greensburg, two brothers; John Veerkamp, Shelbyville, and Carl Veerkamp, Greensburg, 26 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A public rosary service will be held on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen with Rev. Rob Hankee officiating.
Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Millhousen. Memorials may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
