Jesse T. Myers, 90, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Indianapolis.
Born, January 2, 1920 in Decatur County, Indiana, he was the son of Frank and Euna (Davis) Myers.
Jesse graduated from Burney High School in 1938.
He was married to Mary Ann Noblitt White on June 24, 1950 and she preceded him in death on March 23, 2001.
Jesse was a self-employed carpet installer for 45 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 129 in Greensburg for over 60 years, and a former member of the Moose Lodge in Columbus, In.
He is survived by one step-son; Jerry (Sandee) White, Bluffton, SC, one step-daughter; Doloris Ann McConnell (Myron) Snyder, Indianapolis, several step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, step-great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four brothers; Carl, Dale, Walter, and Lowell Myers, one sister; Marian L. Buell, and one step-daughter; Betty Maxine Keller.
Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2010 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. Jane Noblitt officiating.
Interment will be held in the South Park Cemetery in Greensburg, Indiana.
Military graveside rites will be held at the cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Legion Post 129.
