Dale "Shorty" E. Stuehrenberg

Dale E. Stuehrenberg, 41, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2010. Born, December 6, 1968 in Decatur County, Indiana, he was the son of Frank and Martha (Davis) Stuehrenberg, Jr. Dale graduated from Jennings County High School. He was baptized at and was a member of the St. Dennis Catholic Church, he was a member of the Conservation Club in Decatur County, and he worked for the Local 741 Labor Union. Dale was married to Theresa Lynn Powers on June 25, 2008, and she survives. Dale is survived by his mother, wife, son; Derek Jacob Stuehrenberg, Letts, daughter; Daylen Marie Stuehrenberg, Letts, step-son; Tyler Powers, Greensburg, step-daughter; Tara Fleenor, Jennings Co., 5 brothers; Jerry (Nancy) Stuehrenberg, Decatur Co., David (Judy) Stuehrenberg, North Vernon, Frank and the late Patricia Stuehrenberg, Greensburg, Bill (Julie) Stuehrenberg, Greensburg, Tom (Angie) Stuehrenberg, Cross Plains, sister; Diana (Denzil "Yogi") Bare, St. Paul, In., and his father and mother-in-law; Willard and Brenda Powers. He was preceded in death by his father, sister-in-law; Patricia Stuehrenberg, and grandparents; Frank (Alvera) Stuehrenberg, Sr., and William Davis and Frances Davis Craft. Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A rosary service will be held on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. prior to visitation. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen. Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Millhousen, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Decatur County Relay for Life.
