William C. Duncan, Jr., 67, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at his residence in Greensburg.
Born, May 18, 1943 in Kingman, Indiana, he was the son of William Cassel and Geraldine (Boyd) Duncan.
William graduated from Vallonia High School. He then served in the United States Air Force from 1961-67.
William married Sally A. Rethlake on November 27, 1976 and she survives.
William retired as the Production Manager at American Lifts in 2005. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Brownstown, In., a member of the American Legion Post 129 in Greensburg, the Eagles Lodge in Greensburg, and a member of the National Muzzle Loading Association.
William is survived by his wife, one son; Andrew William Duncan, Greensburg, 4 sisters; Willow (Don) Hamilton, Columbus, IN., Alice (Warren) Fisher, Campbellsburg, IN., Nancy (Charles) Brock, Brownstown, IN., and Janet Wood, Alpena, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter who died in infancy, 2 half-brothers; Melvin and Olan Duncan, and one brother who died in infancy.
Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will follow the visitation on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. Jimmy Moore officiating.
Interment will be at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Decatur County or the American Cancer Society.
