James R. Clark, 62, Greensburg, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at his residence.
Born, August 2, 1948 in Greensburg, Indiana, he was the son of Lewis G. and Anna M. (Hancock) Clark.
He was been employed at the Greensburg Water Treatment Plant for the last 26 years.
He graduated from Greensburg High School in 1967. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the American Legion Post #129.
He was a veteran of the Air Force.
James loved to travel, hike fish, and camp. He hiked throughout Europe and Australia. He had a great love for his job and his many nieces and nephews. He also loved to watch the Colts and the Pacers.
He is survived by one brother, Dennis (Betty) Clark, Greensburg; two sisters, Barbara Jones, Greensburg, Nancy Hoegeman, Batesville; former wife, Becky Drennen; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Matthew Eric Clark; one sister, Rita Irene Clark; two brother-in-laws, Rick Jones, Edward Hoegeman; one nephew, Gregory Phillips.
Visitation will be from 3-7:00 p.m. Monday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the funeral home.
Interment will be held in the Sandcreek Cemetery in Greensburg.
The American Legion Post #129 will conduct military graveside services.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Decatur County, the Cheer Fund, or the Meals on Wheels Program.
