Mary H. Littell

Mary H. Littell, 85, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2010 at Morning Breeze Nursing Home in Greensburg. Born, December 31, 1924 in Batesville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Frank and Ida (Smith) Walke. Mary was a waitress at the Sherman House in Batesville for many years, and also worked as a sales clerk for Minears in Greensburg. She was married to Ralph Littell on March 30, 1946 and he survives. Mary is survived by her husband, a son; Charles (Darlene) Robbins, Columbus, IN, 2 grandchildren; Glenn (Amy) Robbins, Scipio, IN, Kellie (Greg) Dooley, South Bend, IN, several great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers; Arthur Rogian and Lee Walke, 2 sisters; Joan Pollard and Kate Wheeler, and a grandchild; Gale Robbins. Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Interment will be held in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Greensburg, Indiana. Memorials can be made to the Decatur County Hospice.
