Obituary for Atlee J. Coblentz

Atlee J. Coblentz, 84, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at his residence. Born, April 22, 1937 in Hartville, Ohio, he was the son of John A.M. and Nancy (Weaver) Coblentz. Atlee was a farmer. He is survived by his wife Elsie (Weaver) Coblentz. Other survivors include five children; Mable (Bert) Hershberger, Ben (Laura) Coblentz, Miriam (Jacob) Huchstetler, Daniel (Rose) Coblentz, Andy of the home; one brother, Henry (Savilla) Coblentz; two sisters, Atlee’s twin, Anna (John Henry) Coblentz, Mary (Joe) Coblentz; 28 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. Atlee was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Melvin Coblentz and two sisters, Sarah Coblentz, Clara Coblentz. Visitation will be from 3 to 8:00 pm on Friday, July 16th and from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 17th all at the Community Building in Milroy. Funeral services will start at 9:00 am on Sunday, July 18th at the Community Building in Milroy with Firman Troyer officiating. Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery in Rush County.
