Bertha Louise Haskamp, 88, Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Aspen Place in Greensburg.
Born, September 5, 1934 in North Vernon, Indiana, she was the daughter of Albert J. and Luvina M. (Hill) Daeger.
Bertha was a member of the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Enochsburg and a former member of the St. Anne’s Society at Hamburg. She loved quilting with her friends.
She was married to Virgil M. Haskamp on September 5, 1964 and he preceded her in death on December 21, 2016.
She is survived by two sons, Edward (Jan) Haskamp, Greensburg, Doug (Barb) Haskamp, Greensburg; two daughters, Theresa (George) Dury, Indianapolis, Karen (Tom) Poplawski, La Porte; one brother, Albert (Marlene) Daeger, North Vernon; eleven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Otto G. Daeger, Edmund J. Daeger, Bernard J. Daeger; three sisters, Leona Hellmich, Rosemary Kreutzjans, Josephine Vogel.
Family and friends will gather at 4:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home to pray the rosary. Visitation will follow the rosary until 7:00 p.m. at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Enochsburg with Rev. Bill Ehalt officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery in Hamburg.
Memorials may be made to the St. Anne's Cemetery Fund or the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
