Betty Jane Voris

Betty Jane Voris, 83, Napoleon, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018. Born June 18, 1935 in Greensburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of Forest and Ethel (Bredewater) Lutes.  Betty graduated from Napoleon High School. She had worked as a secretary for the Napoleon Grade School and then she worked for many years at the Napoleon State Bank.  She was a member of the Napoleon Methodist Church and the Eastern Star. She was married to Leonard C. Voris on October 30, 1955 and he preceded her in death on December 12, 2012. She is survived by three daughters, Vickie (Jesse) Nice, Salem, IN, Bonnie Ploeger, Batesville, Jennifer (Geraldo) Linarducci, Napoleon; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; one brother, James D. Lutes. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12 to 2:00 p.m. at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.  Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the funeral home with Rev. LaJo Dunbar officiating. Interment will be held in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles, IN. Memorials may be made to the Napoleon Methodist Church.
