Bobbie Joe Shrader

Bobbie Joe Shrader, 75, St. Paul, went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2018 at his home with his family by his side.  Bobbie was born in Rush County on July 16, 1942 to William “Bill” and Virginia (Burkhead) Shrader.  Bobbie enjoyed horses and watching his nieces and nephews show their horses and rabbits.  He retired from BCA after 39 years of service.  He married Cindy Bohner on February 20, 1971 and she survives.  He is survived by his wife, two sons, Robert (Andrea) Shrader, Minneola FL, Mike (Katie) Shrader, Greensburg, sister, Fay Fairchild, New Castle, brother, Ray (Stephanie) Shrader, Columbus, two grandchildren, Nicholas and Abby Shrader, Minneola, FL, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother-in-law, Wilma “Sissy” and Herman Bonfer, brother-in-law, Jim Fairchild, sister-in-law, Edna Puente, and father and mother in law, Paul and Louise Bohner.  Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 7 pm at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be on Saturday, May 5 at 10 am at the funeral home with Rev. Mike Snyder officiating.  Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery in Adams.  Memorials can be made to Hospice or the Columbus 4H Bunny Bunch.
