Brenda Lynn Hill, 49, passed away on April 13, 2024 in Greensburg, Indiana.
She was born in Vernal, Utah on February 11, 1975 to Robert and Becky (Gomm) Pinkham.
Brenda graduated from Uintah High School in 1993 and received her Masters of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Utah in 2008. Brenda lived in Alaska for several years where she worked as an archaeologist. She later moved to South Dakota, where she met her Fiancé, Matt and they had recently moved to Greensburg, Indiana.
She loved anything adventurous and outdoors, and was always happy to be surrounded by nature. She hiked in national parks and preserves across North America, from Zion and the Grand Canyon to forests and glaciers in Alaska. She raised her children to have a great appreciation for the natural world. She loved animals, even when it was a moose or a bear refusing to leave the driveway.
Her hobbies were varied throughout her life and ranged from knitting to museums to craft brewing, and she loved dark humor and horror. She was always up to see local artists preform live shows.
Brenda was resourceful, extremely smart, and inspired by everyone around her.
Brenda is survived by her parents; Robert and Becky Pinkham, son; Tristan Hill, daughter; Kirstin Hill, brother; David Pinkham, two sisters; Rachel Pinkham and Lisa Pinkham Bensinger, and her Fiancé; Matt Embree.
A celebration of life will be held this summer and more information will be posted as it is available.
