Carol J. Fry

Carol J. Fry, 76, Solsberry, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the I.U. Health Hospital in Bloomington.Born June 17, 1941 in Greensburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of Raymond E. and Frances B. (Herbert) White. She was married first to James V. Spears on April 22, 1960 and he preceded her in death on June 13, 1983. She then married Robert Fry on June 1, 1997 and he survives. She is also survived by four daughters, Tammy D. Spears, Westport, Diana K. Haining, Greensburg, Dona S. Roberts, Greensburg, April R. Hester, Lafayette; two stepsons, Nicholas and Alvin Fry, both of Bloomington; one brother, Michael "Butch" White; one sister, Deloris Hicks; sister-in-law, Marilyn White; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband; one brother, Walter White; one sister, Mary Benefiel; one great grandchild, Armani Hester. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Lower Union Presbyterian Cemetery in Decatur County.
