Cynthia "Cindy" Mary Young

Cynthia “Cindy” Mary Young, 62, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. She was born on April 18, 1961, in Greensburg, the daughter of Bernard and Patricia Wesseler.

Cindy graduated from Greensburg High School. She showed unwavering dedication and a keen sense of professionalism in her career as a realtor for Tree City Properties. Cindy worked for Taff Furniture and also worked as a Mary Kay consultant and impacted those around her through her dedication and entrepreneurial spirit. Cindy married Ed Young in 1981 and together they had 3 children.

She found immense joy in swimming and playing with her beloved grandkids. Her quick wit and infectious laughter left a mark on all who knew her. Her legacy is one of laughter, love and the simple joys of life.

Cindy is survived by her parents; husband, Ed; daughters: Nicole (Brandon) Litmer, Noelle (Kyle) Hermesch, and Andrea (Clint) Parker; grandchildren: Ty, Sara, Chase, Cash, Olivia, Lauren, Colt, and Lucas. She is also survived by her brothers, David “Butch” Wesseler and Dale (Maria) Wesseler.

Cindy was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Wesseler.

Family and friends will gather to pray the rosary on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 8:30 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg. Visitation will be held following the rosary from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am with Father John Meyer officiating.
