Claudia L. Schlacter

Claudia L. Schlacter, 63, Lake Santee, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at her residence with her husband by her side. Born January 11, 1954 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Fred E. and Claudine (Paules) Tyson.  Claudia graduated from Parkland High School in Allentown.  She was a banker at the Main Source Bank in Greensburg.  She was married to Michael Schlacter on March 10, 1973 and he survives. She is also survived by one daughter, Brittany Schlacter, Grand Rapids, Michigan; one son, Dan Schlacter, Greensburg; one sister, Dawn Smoyer, Slatington, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was a wonderful mother, friend, and member of the community.  Claudia's smile could light up a room.  She was generous, selfless, and kind.  Claudia touched many lives and will be missed dearly by those who loved her. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1 to 3:00 p.m. at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the funeral home.
