Connie Rae Polston

Connie Rae Polston, 83, Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at AMG Specialty Hospital in Greenfield, Indiana.

Born, August 4, 1939 in Clarinda, Iowa, she was the daughter of Manford and Ethel (Sebeneicher) Cain.

Connie was a member of the First Christian Church.  She had been a member of Tri Kappa and for many years served as a volunteer for the gift shop at Decatur County Memorial Hospital

She was married to Donald H. Polston on April 13, 1958 and he survives.

She is also survived by one daughter, Jennifer (Fritz) Grief, Carmel; two granddaughters, Alexandra and Samantha Grief; one sister, Karen Shaul, Omaha, NE.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Beverly Witt.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, from 11:00 to 1:00 pm at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Ray Sweet officiating. Burial will take place at South Park Cemetery in Greensburg.

Memorials may be made to “St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital”.
