Donald G.W. Balser Jr.

Donald G.W. Balser, Jr., 76, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021.
He was born in Columbus, Indiana, July 2, 1945. He enjoyed life as an avid fisherman, competing in several tournaments as a hobby. He was a member of the New Point Baptist Church in New Point, Indiana.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Balser (nee Lauderdale) of Greensburg; sister, MaryAnne Shatto; brother, Paul (Aimee) Balser; kids, Donny (Monica) Balser, Bo (Charlene) Balser, Pam (Bobby) Hubbard, Mike (Gina Meyer) Balser, Jodi (Jeff) Murray, Thomas (Tearinee) Balser, and Jerry (Jamie) Balser. He has 21 grandkids, 32 great grandkids, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Myrtle Balser and one grandson, Craig Balser.
Private services will be held for the family at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. The funeral service will be broadcast on Face Book Live at 11:00 a.m. Friday on the funeral home Face Book page. Burial will be held in the St. George Lutheran Church Cemetery ELCA outside Edinburgh, Indiana.
