Donna J. Burns

Donna J. Burns, 51, of Greensburg, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019 at the Aspen Place Health Campus in Greensburg. Donna was born on February 9, 1968 in Greensburg, IN., the daughter of Edward Donald and Lou Ann (Wise) Burns.  Donna graduated from Greensburg High School in 1986.  She was a member of the United Zion Methodist Church.  She had worked at Wal Mart, GECOM, and R.J. Knoepfler Company in Cincinnati. Donna enjoyed listening to music, singing, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.  She also loved her pet dogs. Survivors include her mother, Lou Ann Burns; brother, Jeff (Diane) Burns, sisters, Charlotte (Larry) Bailey, Patty (Jim) Luken, Margie (Phil) Poling, Kim Burns, Dottie (Stephen) Gommel, all of Greensburg; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Jim Burns, niece, Rebecca Lee; great nephew and great niece, John and Savannah Vanek.  Visitation will be from 11-1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Porter Oliger Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.  Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m.  at the funeral home with Joyce Barker officiating. Burial will follow at the Rossburg Cemetery in New Point.  Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the  Donna J. Burns Memorial Fund.
