Donna Sue Colson

Donna Sue Colson (Webb), 71, of Greensburg, IN, died on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Columbus Regional Health in Columbus, IN.

Born November 10, 1952, in Bedford, IN, she was the daughter of Charles and Norma Webb. She grew up in the Indiana Soldiers' and Sailors' Children's Home and graduated from Morton Memorial High School in 1971. She obtained an associate degree in accounting from Ivy Tech. She retired from Gecom Corporation in 2013. She was a lifelong member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary in Greensburg.

She was married to David Colson on July 22, 1972, and he preceded her in death on October 29, 2013.

Donna is survived by her son, Derek Colson of Greensburg; daughter, Dana (Tony) Staker of Brownsburg, IN; three grandchildren: Chloi York, Nathaniel and Aiden Colson of Greensburg; one sister, Anna Chance of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers: Lee Roy Webb and Jay Dee Webb; three sisters, Carol York, Mary Rigby, and Brenda York; and one granddaughter, Taylor Nicole Colson.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery in Greensburg. Memorial contributions can be made to Eagles Grand National Charity or American Diabetes Association.
