Douglas V. Boehm

Heaven gained a new angel and storyteller Wednesday, April 5, 2023. Douglas Vincent Boehm, 65, passed away at this home. He loved catfishing, hunting, and being outdoors.

He was born on July 11, 1957 to Donald V. Boehm and Mary Ruth (Bankemper) Boehm in Amelia, Ohio. Doug married Mary Catherine (Morris) Schoettmer on May 5, 2005 in their backyard near Millhousen.

Survivors include his wife; step-daughter, Angie (Ron) Trepanier; grandchildren: Will Jordan, Emily Imel, and Dawson Imel; great-grandchildren: Izzy and Isacc; mother, Mary Ruth Boehm; brother, David Boehm; sisters: Suzanne Boehm, Jennifer Boehm, and Donna Krewina; sister-in-law, Barbara Shover; brothers-in-law: Bill Schoettmer, Pat Schoettmer; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his favorite cat, Moe Henry and cats, Coco Beanz and Dottie.

Doug was preceded in death by his father and brother, John Boehm.
