Eric John Porter

October 12, 1965 — November 12, 2022

Eric John Porter, 57, East Wenatchee, Washington, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, WA. Eric was born, October 12, 1965 in Greensburg, Indiana the son of John Richard and Mary Jo (Luken) Porter.

Eric touched many lives from his roots in Greensburg, Indiana (GCHS Class of 1984) to North Seattle, Washington, and through his successful 30-year career as a Flight Test Expeditor with The Boeing Company. Unfortunately, Eric had been dealing with serious health issues over the past 18 months. Through the many difficult challenges, he never once gave up and he always maintained an amazingly positive and optimistic attitude. Eric was very charismatic and quite simply an "all-around great guy". He was truly caring, loyal, and very generous to his family and friends. Eric will be remembered for many different attributes by many different people but his fun-loving sense of humor will always be his trademark.

He is survived by four brothers, Ted (Jennifer) Porter, Seattle, WA, Mark (Kathy) Porter, Greensburg, IN, Dale (Jeanine) Porter, Wenatchee, WA, Gary Porter, Everett, WA; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Greensburg, Indiana with Rev. John Meyer officiating.
