Frank Otto Sauer

Frank Otto Sauer, 61, of Greensburg, IN., departed from this life on Sunday, May 5, 2019, at his home. It was felt he had a major cardiac event. He was born December 18, 1957., in Indianapolis, IN, to Leo C. Sauer and Mildred C. (Sloan) Sauer. He spent most of his life in Indianapolis, IN and Anderson, IN. He did Fencing installation and maintenance for years. He was a general laborer and all-around handyman. He absolutely loved his most recent job at Greensburg Bread of Life. He really felt at home there. He was preceded in death by his parents, his life partner of many years Judy Short, and sister Judy Sauer. He is survived by his brother; Robert (Stephanie) Bell, three sisters; Leanne (Anthony) Lake, Belinda (Orie) Williamson, and Jayne J. Privett. He also leaves behind one niece and nephews and special friends. He was never married and did not have any children.

We do not forget you, nor do we intend

Gone and forgotten by some you may be.

He was not defined by his relapses with alcohol, but by his decision to remain in recovery despite them. He did not want a funeral or service. Please write a letter, send a card that reminded you of him (Birthday, Thank You, Friendship, etc.) it doesn't have to be a sympathy card.
