Geneva G. Peterson

Geneva Gilbert Peterson, 61 passed peacefully at her residence in Greensburg.

Geneva was born in Manchester, Kentucky on March 1, 1963 to Dasiy and Gilbert Jones. She was the 4th of 8 children. She grew up in a loving and caring family. Her siblings include, Rick, Denver, Bert, Charles, James, and June Bug Jones.

She had 4 children of her own: Robert Peterson-Pendleton, Indiana, Samantha Combest-Greensburg, Indiana, Teresa Preble-Greensburg, Indiana, and Josh Peterson- Saint Paul, Indiana. Geneva had 9 grandchildren:  Marie Ball, Michael Combest, Allen Ball, Daisy Ball, Jacob Peteron, Maci Peterson, Ricky Peterson, Ray Preble and Faith Preble. Along with 2 great grandchildren: Jax Combest and Kahlee H J Ball, and several niece's and nephews.

Geneva was a hard worker and very dependable. She loved to cook at her job, Stories Restaurant, just as much as loved to cook for her family and friend's.  Her hobbies included anything and everything to do outdoors, from camping to fishing or just playing with her grandchildren. She enjoyed flea markets and making things out of stuff that other people seen as useless.

Despite dealing with a long list of health problems her love for God and family was never lost. She made sure to always be available for anyone that ever needed her and was always a positive influence and role model.
