Jack L. Stuart

Jackie Lee “Jack” Stuart, 79, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Born April 8, 1940 in Westport, Indiana, Indiana, he was the son of Thomas and Sarah (Elliott) Stuart.  He retired from Delta Faucet after working there for 43 years.  Jack loved to tinker and fix things, he enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.  He was married to Ellen C. Vires on November 19, 1961 and she preceded him in death on December 10, 2013. He is survived by two sons, Whitney (Anna) Stuart, Columbus, OH, Grant (Chelsea) Stuart, Columbus, IN; two daughters, Lisa Keith (TJ), Westfield, Kristina Wildey, Greensburg; one brother, Joseph Stuart (Pauline), Greensburg; two sisters, Carolyn (Charles) Caplinger, Freetown, Ellen (Dennis) Bushhorn, Westport; nine grandchildren, Madeleine Nicole Stuart, Emily Elizabeth Stuart, Haley Nicole (Kevin) Hast, Hannah Noel Keith, Hollyn McKenzie Keith, Adrienna Elaine Stuart, Cameron James Stuart, Ellen Anne Stuart, Fletcher John Lee Stuart; two great grandchildren, Catherine Lynne Hast, Charlotte Nicole Hast. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; one great grandchild, Hayden Marshall Hast. Visitation will be from 1-5:00 p.m. Sunday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2019 at the funeral home with Rev. Jeff Bower officiating. Interment will be held in the South Park Cemetery in Greensburg.
