Jerome H. “Jerry” Wolter, 53, passed away on October 30, 2018 at his residence in Greensburg. Jerry was born on April 6, 1965 in Greensburg to Bernard “Ben” and Marlene E. (Rogers) Wolter. Jerry loved woodworking and was a painter by trade. He was very artistic, loved hunting, fishing, and being in the outdoors. He was also an avid collector of Indian artifacts. Jerry is survived by his mother; Marlene E. Wolter, brother; Mike (Kathy) Wolter, three sisters; Denise (Don) Underhill, Carolyn (Glenn) Gersch, Jane (Don) Poper, 9 nieces and nephews, and 10 great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; Bernard “Ben” Wolter, nephew; Daryl Wolter, and four great nephews; Matthew, Quentin, William, and Jonathan Underhill. Visitation will be at the First Church of God on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 11 am to 1 pm followed by funeral services at 1 pm with Rev. Terry Canfield officiating. Burial will follow at St. Maurice Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Lung Association.
