Jerry D. Dietrich

November 22, 1941 — March 7, 2021

Jerry D. Dietrich, 79, Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg.

Jerry was born to Carl and Mildred Dietrich on November 22, 1941.

He graduated in 1960 from Greensburg Community High School and played Alto Sax in the high school band. He was also a member of the “Jive Bombers”.

Jerry was a member of the band “The Pastels” during the 60’s along with Mike Venable, Neil Comer, and Cornie Curran.  He enjoyed working on cars, attending NASCAR races, watching sports on television, and working on different projects.  Jerry was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

He retired from Sintering Technologies (STI) in 2010.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Don Dietrich.

He is survived by his wife Wilma of 55 years. Together they had two sons, Mark (Rhonda) Dietrich, Chris Dietrich, and one daughter, Lori Dietrich. Also, Pampaws little buddy and special grandson, Carson Dietrich.

Graveside services were held at the South Park Cemetery in Greensburg, Indiana.  Memorials may be made to the Liberty Baptist Church, 4250 W CR 300 S, Greensburg, IN 47240.
