Joseph Richard Wright

Joseph Richard Wright, 76 of Greensburg passed away Saturday, September 17th at his home in Greensburg, IN.  He was born April 22, 1946, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Robert L. and Helen M (Colglazier) Wright.

On October 21, 1978, he married Joanette Marie Scheidler and she survives. He received a master’s degree from Indiana University. He taught elementary school, but his first love was being a farmer. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg.

He is survived by his wife, Joanette; two sons, Andrew and Christopher; several brothers and sisters in law; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

A private rosary and funeral mass will be held for the family at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg with Rev. Bill Ehalt officiating.

Interment will be held in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Greensburg.
