Karl K. Wells

Karl K. Wells, 72, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022, at his home. Born August 28, 1950, in Greensburg, Indiana he was the son of William “D.D.” and Blanche “Peachie” Wells.

Karl graduated from Sandcreek High School in 1968.  After high school he went into the United States Army and served his country for four years. Karl went on to work at BCA for 30+ years and then GECOM where he retired. Karl was an avid bowler, loved to talk, play Facebook games, play the lottery, scratch off tickets, watch the Walking Dead, and Star Trek.

He was married to Debbie McKell on May 5, 1973, and she preceded him in death.

Karl is survived by his mother, Blanche ‘Peachie” Wells; daughters: Amber Cruz, Andrea Wells; siblings: Sally (Steve) Kelso, Jerry (Sally) Wells; grandchildren: Chloe, Karly, Sadie, Roscoe, Kyleigh, Nicholas; great granddaughter, Ariana; and sister-in-law, Connie Lonneman.

He was preceded in death by his father, William “D.D.” Wells; wife, Debbie Wells; and three daughters: Angel, Jessica, and Julia.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, November 28, 2022, at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm also at the funeral home. Internment will be held in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
