Kenneth Nobbe

Kenneth “Ken” Nobbe, 53, passed away at his home in Greensburg, Indiana on Saturday, July 30, 2022. Ken was born on March 16, 1969, in Greensburg as the son of Raymond and Mary Nobbe.

Ken graduated from Greensburg High School in 1987 and went on to further his education at Ivy Tech. Ken graduated with an Associate Degree in Automotive Mechanics in 1989. After graduation Ken began his career as a mechanic at Don Meyer Ford. In October of 1994 he went on to work as an Engineer Tech at Valeo and would continue to do so for the next 28 years. On February 5, 1994, Ken married the love of his life, Robin Dawn Cathey, and she survives. Ken was a dedicated and hard worker, and always made sure that he provided for his family. Ken enjoyed spending time with family, working on cars, and working on his grandfather’s tractor. He had a major soft spot for babies and all of his children. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Ken is survived by his wife, Robin Nobbe; children: Stephen Nobbe, Kiara Nobbe, Raegan Nobbe, mother, Mary Nobbe; brothers: Michael Nobbe, David (Julia) Nobbe, Philip (Kim) Nobbe, Roger (Amber) Nobbe, Patrick (Melissa) Nobbe, Larry (Deanna) Nobbe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ken was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Nobbe; and son, Caleb Nobbe.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg, Indiana. There will be a rosary service held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday night, also at the funeral home. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Greensburg with Father John Meyer officiating. There will be an additional hour of visitation before mass from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Burial will take place at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
