Kenneth B. Redelman, 82, Greensburg, went to be with his mother in heaven on March 14, 2018. Ken was born in Millhousen on April 27, 1935 to the Clemens J. and Edna Catherine (Fry) Redelman. Ken was an over the road driver for most of his life driving for Interstate Brands (Dolly Madison) from 1969 until retirement in 2006. He received many awards for safe driving and was chosen driver of the month and driver of the year several times throughout his career. His greatest joy was being “Papaw”, and he adored his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ken was married to Jean Bowling on May 22, 1954 and she survives. Also surviving are his 5 children, Gary Wayne (Tess) Redelman, Tina Jo (Dave) Benz, Arleen (Greg) Schwering, Jody Catherine (Darren) Cowins, and Dee Parks, 11 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, “Little E.” Elizabeth Schwering. Private funeral services have already taken place for the family. Ken was laid to rest at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Millhousen next to his beloved mother. Memorials can be made to the American Lung Association or to the American Cancer Society directly or through Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home.
