Kenny E. Scudder

Kenny E. Scudder, 75, Downeyville, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at the St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Born, June 22, 1945 in Downeyville, Indiana, he was the son of Russell and Margaret (Blanford) Scudder. Kenny had been a mechanic. He loved working on cars and motorcycles.  He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, and watching Westerns. Kenny was married to Joanne Kramer on October 11, 1994 and she survives. He is also survived by three children, Brenda (David) James, Cincinnati, Tina (Travis) Barkey, Cincinnati, Brian Scudder, Cincinnati; three step children, David Eckerle, Columbus, Bart (Brandy) Eckerle, Shelbyville, Diane (John) Thornton, Muncie; one brother, Jake Scudder, Greensburg; two sisters, Shirley Moore, Shelbyville, Janet Black, Greensburg; nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Vivian Pence. While observing CDC and state guidelines for social distancing and required facial coverings, family and friends will gather at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg to pray the rosary. Visitation will follow until 12:45. The funeral mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. John Meyer officiating. Interment will be held in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Greensburg. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
