Kevin M. McKenzie, 58, of Greensburg, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017 with his family by his side.  Kevin was born on May 20, 1959 in Evansville, In. to Robert McKenzie and Beverly (Van Bibber) Marshall.  Kevin graduated from Greensburg High School in 1978.  He worked for Marsh Supermarket for 23 years and for the City of Greensburg for the last 20 years.  Kevin loved hunting, fishing, classic cars, and Harley Davidson motorcycles.  He also loved spending time with his family out camping or on the boat.  Kevin was married to Vietta Austin on February 23, 1985 and she survives.  Kevin is survived by his wife Vietta McKenzie, Greensburg, two children, Derrick (Josie) McKenzie, Osgood, Deidra McKenzie, Greensburg, mother, Beverly Marshall, Greensburg, five siblings, Mike (Sandy) Marshall, Corydon, Darlene (Bobby) Whitlock, Chandler, In., Lisa Eddelman, Greensburg, Patty “Tiger” Riedeman, Greensburg, Cindy Francisco, Greensburg, and several nieces and nephews.  Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Robert McKenzie, his step-father, Charles A. Marshall, and three sisters, Debra Land, Crystal Michael, and Cathy Marshall.  Visitation will be at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home on Thursday, December 14 from 4 -8 pm.  Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, December 15 at the funeral home with Pastor Jon Porter officiating.  There will be a dinner at the Family Life Center behind the 1st Christian Church immediately following the funeral services.  Memorial contributions can be made to the family for a future memorial project in Kevin’s honor.
